Since Moghul time Kashmir has been known as a paradise on earth with its pine scented air, spectacular snow clad mountains, beautiful lakes and streams………
The best time to visit Kashmir is May to October.
Day 01
Flight Delhi to Srinagar. In Srinagar, met and transferred to Butt’s Clermont Houseboats. Full Board. You will be on board the houseboat for 3 nights.
(The Houseboat is moored on the western shores of Dal Lake besides an old Mughal Garden believed to have been built by the Emperor Akbar and called the Garden of the Morning Breeze with glorious views across Dal Lake to snow covered peaks. Just next to the houseboats you can step directly onto Naseem Bagh-the beautiful Mughal garden with more than 400 years old Famous Chinar Trees).
Afternoon go for a Shikara ride on Nagin lake.
Day 02
Onboard Houseboat. Full Board
Before sunrise take a shikara to see the floating vegetable market.
After breakfast sight seeing of Old City, mosques etc
Day 03
Onboard Houseboat.
Sight seeing of Mughal Gardens
Day 04
Driven 3 hours to Pahalgam. Stay at Pahalgam Hotel or similar. (Pahalgam the valley of shepherds is situated at a height of 7200 ft and is about 100 kms from Srinagar sprawling amidst the confluence of river lidder, , established in 1931 and spread in about 2 acres, the hotel has acquired a name for its rejuvenating ambience, hospitality and a wholesome tasty cuisine.)
Day 05
Day walk to Aru with picnic lunch . Stay a second night at Pahalgam Hotel or similar
Day 06
Hire a pony and ride to Baiseran meadow.
Stay a third night at Pahalgam Hotel or similar
Day 07
Driven 5 hours to Gulmarg (via Srinagar) . Stay at The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa. (Spread over seven unspoilt, fir-laden acres, with majestic views of the Affarwat Peaks. Khyber Mountain Resort is conveniently located in close proximity to Gondola (Cable Car) and surrounded by Mount Affarwat, the highest ski point in Himalayas. This is the highest ski lift in the world, carrying up to 600 skiers per hour up to the ninth highest peak of the Himalayan Mountain Range. Guests are able to Ski right in and out of the resort in Skiing season.).
Day 08
Day walk to include St. Mary’s Church and gondola ride.
Stay a second night at The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa
Day 09
Play golf at the highest golf course in the world ! or visit Gulmarg Biosphere.
Stay a third night at The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa
Day 10
Driven 2 ½ hours to Srinagar airport to connect flight to New Delhi for your onward destination.
